The YAPC::Europe Foundation (YEF) is a non-profit organization which works to promote the Perl programming language in Europe primarily through public events.

We are considering adding a "donate to YEF" field to Act instances so that you have an option to donate a little bit to YEF when you are buying your conference or workshop ticket.
It will be an opt-in, so that the conference organizers will have to activate it in their Act instance.
At any rate, we will provide the payment system service to YAPC::Europe 2016 in Cluj, should the organizers want it.

Other than that, if the community does not support us in a sustainable way, we'll have to consider another option (such as shutting down).
